My priority is always the safety and well‑being of your kitties, as well as maintaining a calm, secure environment during visits. For safety reasons, I prefer to know in advance if contractors, maintenance workers, or cleaning staff will be in the home. When there are unfamiliar people or extra activity, kitties may feel unsettled in their space, which can make it harder for me to engage with them comfortably and keep their routine feeling calm and predictable.
